more shots (aftermath)

I am a pincushion. Seriously, I've had so many injections in the last month and a half. I've been a patient at the Mission Valley Heights Surgery Center four times since February 20th. I drove up and some of the nurses were having lunch by the parking lot, and a couple of them waved me over to say hello. I should get a "frequent flyer" discount or something. In all seriousness though, it is easily the nicest "hospital" experience I've had. The place is new and clean and neat. The nurses are all extremely friendly and caring and personable. Which makes a big difference.

Dobecki said I should feel some relief, and I think that I am. It is somewhat difficult to say, however, as I've been doing so much better since my physical therapy revelation on Monday. I was pain free all Monday afternoon!!! I told Dobecki that I was probably a 1 or 2 today, and I'm probably a 1 now. So, did the injection help? I suppose so, but it's difficult to say with real certainty. I know for sure that this Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT) is helping, so I'll continue with that. I can always get more shots and (worst case) surgery later, if needed. Hopefully this new physical therapy will get me better results without the invasive procedure(s). It's pretty darn exciting!
