status of CalPERS appeal?

I spoke to Angela Barraza at CalPERS (1-888-225-7377) to determine the status of my CalPERS appeal. She could find no record of it, so she is sending up a message to their Health Benefits Division who will call me back within 3 days. She said that it can take from 30-45 (business?) days for CalPERS to make an appeal determination. And so we wait some more....
