insurance denial

I got a call from Joanna at Dr. Delamarter's office saying they received a denial from Blue Cross on the ADR procedure. This was not unexpected. She says they just got a phone call from BC, and either they or I will receive something in writing within a few days which will tell us how to appeal the decision. I have already begun to pull together information for my appeal (doctor's recommendations, etc.) I'm hoping that Blue Cross will see their way clear to allow me to get this procedure so that I can get some much-needed pain relief and start living my life again!
