cancelled my PT appointment for today because my back was all screwed up. pain level at 5-7(!)
ready for surgery. i need some relief.

This blog is a journal of my struggles with chronic lower back pain.
I have been dealing with this problem since around 2006.
I've been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease at L5/S1.
I intend to some day be pain free, resume surfing and mountain biking, etc.
I do not necessarily want to get surgery.
This journal will help me remember dates and procedures.
If you are a fellow back pain sufferer, my heart and prayers go out to you.
