yes, i am now seriously reconsidering a fusion. i guess i had been really focused on disc replacement, but the doctor yesterday caused me to reevaluate the entire situation -- which is probably a good thing! i've made an appointment with mark nelson for tomorrow to discuss my options. i really do like him and respect his opinions. i don't think dr. green is a possibility unless i went back to kaiser, which i don't want to do. i may also talk with dr. dodge. thanks again for all your research and concern. please do not hesitate to offer your honest opinions! i know that you all care very much. and as i mentioned last night, i've been feeling a bit overwhelmed with this decision. and the medication certainly doesn't help my cognitive abilities.
