my prayer

from an e-mail to a friend....

I am praying for the Lord to either:

1. miraculously heal my degenerative discs (L5/S1 & L4/L5), or
2. expedite the process so that I can get the appropriate surgery, either:

• 2 disc replacement (if insurance approves it), or
• 2-level fusion

Through all this, I am praying for God's will to be done and for God to help me deal with the constant pain I am experiencing. If I am to get surgery which seems likely, I pray for God to reveal to me clearly which procedure I should get, and I pray that God will use the surgeons to do a great job fixing my back so that I can be pain-free and not have to take any more medication and get back to doing the physical activities which I formerly enjoyed (surfing, hiking, camping, biking, golfing, etc.).
