acute pain

pain level has definitely increased! and it's more acute, focused on the left side of my lower back. i'm having a rough monday morning after a rough weekend. somehow made it into work. pain level = 5-7. in addition to my usual medication, i've already taken a vicodin this morning; and i just took another tramadol. at night, i'm having 1-3 drinks. usually red wine but sometimes some bourbon or kahlua. i'm being careful about not getting too messed up. it definitely helps with the pain and being able to sleep. i would rather not have to ingest any of this junk.
