neck MRI + medications

e-mail to Dr. Dobecki:

Thanks for you phone call on Friday. I understand that I have some bulging and possible herniation in my neck, however my symptoms have lessened dramatically. I am basically pain-free in the neck area. However, the back is another story! Speaking of which, I was wondering if you could prescribe me some local pain relievers. I was using some patches called Lidoderm (Lidocaine) which seem to take the edge off the pain when I'm having really bad days, and I am about to run out. Also, a friend at work gave me a packet of gel called Cryoderm which seemed to help also. It's a 10% menthol topical pain reliever which I think is prescription-only too. So, if you could help me with those, that would be much appreciated. And if you think we need to talk about my MRI, then definitely let's set up an appointment. But if my neck is feeling OK, then maybe that is not necessary?
Thanks again for all your help.
