pre-op with Dr. Nelson

I plan to ask Dr. Nelson about a few things:

• Need a Doctor's note to my work detailing how much time I will be away (i.e.: two months on disability leave followed by part-time telecommuting)
• Strongly request that during the procedure he "prop up" my disc space before setting the cage or whatever is going in there, because I feel that most of my pain is coming from the lack of disc (i.e.: vertebrae bone-on-bone)
• Make sure that fusion will help relieve facet pain. I feel that I may be getting some pain from the facet joints too....
