no jobby

I have not had a bowel movement since Friday morning before my surgery. I thought for sure I would have one this morning after breakfast and a couple of cups of good coffee. But it was not to be. I am taking colace along with the percocet because supposedly one of the side effects of oxycodone is constipation. I think I am proving that to be the case. Lovely.

I am still a bit light headed off-and-on, but nothing like the dizziness, nausea, and inability to focus which I was experiencing post-surgery. Several times when I was talking with people in the hospital, I realized that I had closed my eyes and was starting to drift off. Then when I would try to look at their face, I could not focus on their features at all. The first time I walked post-surgery on Saturday, I closed my eyes a couple times while on the walker, but thank God I did not actually fall asleep or pass out. Think I was on the verge -- yikes.
