no surgery today

Today was supposed to be my surgery date, but we postponed the procedure because we were not sure that the Work Comp folks would approve in time. Ironically I got a call from Dr. Nelson's office this afternoon, and they said that Dr. Nelson had been on a conference call with a Work Comp review doctor late yesterday afternoon, and that they faxed over the approval today. So we missed it by only half a day, or thereabouts. Way too close to try to schedule Mom's plane travel here though. I will call on Monday with another proposed date....
