still more questions for Cheri

e-mail to Dr. Delamarter's assistant Cheri:

I'm glad that you are doing so well! When was your surgery date? I
thought that you were part of the initial study for the Pro-Disc? Was yours a one-level procedure?

So, during the six months afterwards, what was that like? Were you
able to work? Was the pain worse than before the surgery? What was your pain level (1-10 scale) before, during recovery, and now? I think if I knew there was a light at the end of the tunnel, then I could deal with more temporary pain, but as you say being in the right frame of mind is important.

I can't remember if I might have asked Dr. Delamarter about Dr.
Peppers here in Encinitas. Does Dr. Delamarter know of him and if he is qualified? I'm starting to wonder if it would be easier for me to get the surgery locally due to the logistics of getting back and forth to L.A. Surely I won't be able to drive myself 3 hours after the surgery? And I imagine that there will be pre-op appointments and checkups afterwards. How do people manage that when they are coming from far away. I would think the travel would be difficult for people!

Thanks again for answering all these questions. Hope you have a good weekend.
